The most important tips are to make sure your wick is always 1/4 inch tall before lighting. All burnt pieces of wick must be removed so the wick does not extinguish mid burn and risk the chance of creating a tunneled candle.
The first light absolutely must be lit until the top layer of wax if fully melted, which can take 2-4 hours depending on how warm your environment is, and where the candle was stored. We completed repetitive testing to find the perfect size of wick to fully melt the whole surface of the candle with the type of wax and fragrance we use, while ensuring it has the longest life as possible.
If these tips are not followed, there is a higher chance of creating a tunneled candle, which means the wax will not melt at the same rate as the wick.
Final care tips include not moving your candle while it’s lit because it will extinguish the flame. Apply your candle cover after the flame is extinguished after proper use to prevent dust and debris from entering your candle wax.

Tunneling is very common amongst soy wax candles. Soy wax is a very slow burning wax with a good "memory". If the flame is blown out before the wax fully melts to the walls of the vessel, it will "dry" into an uneven surface. It will “remember” where it was melted last, and will unevenly burn the next light(s).
This uneven burn will not allow a strong enough flame to fully melt the wax to the edge. Tunneling will eventually continue to extinguish the flame of your candle.
If your candle is starting to tunnel, gently scrape the wax on the walls of the candle until it is 1/4 inch below the height of the wick, and discard excess wax. Or, if the wax is almost melted to the edge but it extinguishes the flame the longer it burns, soak up some excess wax with paper towel and discard.

We proudly use soy wax because we’re very health & sensitivity conscious burners.
Soy wax is best known for being one of the safest and cleanest burning waxes for children, adults, and seniors. Soy candles burn 30-50% longer than paraffin wax candles.
This wax is also environmentally friendly, producing minimal to no soot while burning, and releasing no harmful toxins into the air.
-
We use high quality fragrance oils that are Paraben and Phthlate Free. The oils we use contain man made fragrance ingredients, chemical compounds, and sometimes natural ingredients. We mix the safest amount of fragrance in our candles according the the IFRA (International Fragrance Association) to ensure a safe and headache free burn as possible.

We use wooden wicks for a wide range of reasons. First, we're simply obsessed with the aesthetic appeal of a wooden wick candle. We’re also in love with the grounding and fulfilling experience from the crackling wick every time we light our candles. The wooden wick also burns the wax slower, so your candle will last longer than cotton wick candles.
Also, the flame generated by the wooden wick enhances how well the scent is thrown throughout your living space. Soy wax candles are known to throw less scent than common paraffin wax candles, so we wanted to give our candles the best chance at filling the desired space without giving you a headache.
We also use wooden wicks because they’re guaranteed to not have a lead core like some cotton wicks on the market. We want our customer to know we have their health and well-being in mind when they use our products.
